Getting Ready—E stablishing Professional Contacts and Expanding
Resources
I love the vison and mission statement of these web sites, and I have asked for newletters, and child related articles in Early Childhood. The information was a little accessible for free, but not all site were free for you to join and some I am already a member. My concern about learning about the international Early Childhood field could be negative or positive, because we know we are trying to change and better the Early Childhood field, as well as the world. We all have a long way to go and I believe it will continue to develop throughout the years to come. Do you think international Early Childhood field wil be behind or advanced? What if anything can you do about it? Let's began with sharing what works in the field of Early Childhood.

Since we have not been classmates before, I took a peek at some of your previouse posts in order to get to know you a little better. Your strong connections to your family a apparent just by a moment's glance. I look forward to hearing about the websites you are exploring and hope you manage to make connections with professionals in other countries as well. I am excited to learn from your experiences and grow together through this class.
ReplyDeleteI have also reflected on your question regarding continued advancement in the field of Early Childhood Studies. In our course work we have had a chance to look forward and look back. I believe that as a profession we have not done enough to share the expertise we develop during our careers. The history of early childhood shows a great deal of "reinventing the wheel" every generation (about 35 years). I am hoping to do my part to build for the future by earning this degree.
